Shopping List:
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
1-2 tablespoonslemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
1-2 tablespoons lemon zest
1-2 teaspoon Sriracha (optional)
1 teaspoon Fresh ginger or ginger paste
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined – raw)
1 cup corn starch
1/2 cup flour
Oil for Frying
2 eggs
hot sauce
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder
sesame seeds / green onion

Directions:
Begin by peeling and deveining the shrimp. Next, make your sauce by mixing all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Taste as you go and adjust as needed. Add flour and cornstarch to a mixing bowl and season with salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder. Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Whisk 2 eggs together and add a little hot sauce. Dredge seasoned shrimp into egg wash and then into the flour mixture. Add to a plate or wire rack. Heat frying oil up to 350 degrees. Fry shrimp for 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and cooked thru. Toss in sauce and garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.

  3. This was delicious, I guess. It was SUPPOSED to be for my husband and I but he ate it all! So I guess it was pretty good!

    Edit: I made this again a week later and it was so good! I see why he ate it all!
