That's okay there's some things that we get that are brand new because the other is just disgusting and I know everything just keeps going up and up and up they're going to have to start raising people's pay

Thanks for posting, it’s good to see what other families are making. If you like Baileys, I would recommend trying Coole Swan – it’s on offer in Tesco at the moment. Similar to Baileys but a crisper finish & less foral. Enjoy the biscuits xx

Watching from the US. I've been doing this for decades, across the states, with different local brands. Some taste okay, some not. I go for the taste I like, but sometimes there's no real difference. Green beans are green beans. Pasta sauce does differ, therefore I get what I like. If you have the financial option, there's no sense going cheap if you don't like the taste of the food. Do you bake? You've got a lot of snack items. You don't have to make everything from scratch, but making a cake a week from a box mix would save on the cost of prepared foods cost and you'd have more control over what's in them. You can portion and freeze what you don't use immediately, tho that may not be a problem for you.
And because I'm that person, if you buy a tub of Thai curry paste, you can make curry whenever you want. I recognize that some people's work schedules or physical abilities may affect the ability to cook. But curry is so easy to make and keeping supplies on hand like curry paste (keeps forever) coconut milk, & frozen veg means you can have it any time. Nice haul. It's always interesting to see what people eat in other parts of the world.
I've never thought of getting those mac and cheese sauces to save time before.
