Call them and tell them you received rotten potatoes!!! I’ve been ordering from them for almost 8 years now- anytime, I have a problem like that- I call them, I get credited.

We had some bad potatoes last week and at first I was like “aw man… We’ll have to use a different side” but then I remembered and was like “oh! I can open a chat with them and get credited and it only takes like 5 minutes”
And they gave me $6 and they never need proof. It’s not SO bad.

That’s kind of a knee-jerk reaction. If you get on the website and chat with them, their support will credit you. They are really good about taking care of you. Not to mention the fact that they will credit you the cost of the entire meal usually even though only one ingredient was messed up.

My partner (used to be a sous chef) says we’d be amazed at what we unknowingly eat in restaurants. I always go through everything he’s prepped and remove what I don’t want to eat.

They always give the smallest veg too… I once had a cm piece of bone in my pork mince that I almost ate. Yes I know it can happen with mince but in 30 years I’ve never had it happen until now.
Just put me off in addition to all the other gripes

Here in New Zealand they’ll credit you the cost of a potato and not the whole meal that was ruined. That’s why we stopped too.

Just report it and move on. I’ve only gotten rotten produce maybe twice in the past 48 boxes. Groceries from Trader Joe’s are much, much worse.
