Salsa recipe modified from the Ball Canning Book. I grew a ton of Serrano peppers. Neighbor gave me a bunch of jalapeños.
Char and peel jalapeños. Peel and core tomatoes. Chop an onion. 3 cups tomato, 3 cups peppers, 2 cups onion, 6 chopped garlic. Simmer 10 minutes with 1 cup cider vinegar, 2 T chopped cilantro, 2 tsp dried oregano, salt to taste, and 1/2 tsp cumin. Swirl with immersion blender. Can up or leave fresh. Get ready for addiction 😵💫

It made 6 cups of salsa.
What do you call that grate you have over your stove burner?
What is the red and orange ‘mash’ in with the peppers and the onions in the pot, is that tomatoes?
