There’s really nothing better than eating spoonfuls of rice pudding, bundled up next to a fireplace at home. It’s one of those feel-good moments we crave during the holiday season — and the reason why I finally decided to recreate this classic rice pudding recipe for you.
My version of rice pudding is ultra-creamy, splendidly sweet, and perfectly spiced with a touch of cinnamon. And I love that it’s naturally gluten-free and refined-sugar free. Essentially, it’s a bowl of coziness! I also love to stir in raisins, but you could opt for cranberries or other seasonal flavors to make this a special dessert for you, your friends, and your family!

U should add sweetener after rice is somewhat cooked otherwise it will take even more than twice tye time for rice to soften

I LOVE Rice Pudding. My grandma used golden raisins.
I add nutmeg not cinnamon, no raisins. Eaten warm not cold. But a tasty extra is warming sliced bananas in brown sugar until syrupy and spooning that over the prepared pudding. Love your ease of prep as a base recipe.

I’ll make it with the coconut milk and NO raisins lol. I like raisins but not so much in the pudding.

My mom made this all the time and you're right it's delicious.
I make this all the time. Have to have shirt grain rice though. My kids love it and grandkids.
I also add ground cardamom to the milk. I add rose water to before serving and top with cinnamon and chopped pistachios. I grew up in the middle east and rice pudding was and still is my all time favorite dessert.
