    -300 g stale brioche or bread

    – 30 g raisins

    – 1 liter warm milk

    – 1 tsp vanillated sugar

    – 1 Tbsp cinnamon

    – 4 eggs

    – 200g sugar

    – one apple, cubed

    – powdered sugar.

    Tear the bread/brioche to pieces, add the raisins. Pour warm milk and let the brioche absorb. Add the apple and mix well. Add the cinnamon and vanilla. Add the apple. Mix well.

    Beat the eggs with the sugar and add to the bread mixture. Mix well, pour into greased tin and bake 40-55′ at 180°C.

    When a knife comes out dry take the cake out of the oven, let it cool and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

    I love bread pudding and it’s one of those recipes that has endless variations…you can use pretty much any type of bread; vanilla or cinnamon or both; any type of fruit; more custardy or more dense…also, the ingredients are inexpensive and it’s quick and easy to prepare! Your recipe is excellent and the result looks very appetizing…nicely done! Happy Holidays to you!
