We are in the process of moving across the country and so I decided to cancel several weeks of hellofresh. On December 11th I received a confirmation email saying my meals were skipped. I thought all was fine until today when I got a message from hellofresh saying my order is on the way and there was a $100 charge on my card.

It appears that when the system updated the ship date due to the holiday it unskipped my delivery.

I was able to contact Hellofresh and originally they didn’t want to refund me until I provided screenshots of the cancellation email. I’ve now been refunded but wanted to let everyone know to keep copies of hello fresh emails and always verify your Hellofresh meals haven’t changed. The $100 refund will take several business days to be returned to my account and I could see how an unexpected charge could negatively impact families especially during the holiday season.
