Jewish Christmas pt.1
Ventured out to SGV for some dim sum. I haven’t had dim sum too many times, so I’m no expert, but I really enjoyed this meal. The staff were friendly and quick, and even on Christmas Eve it didn’t seem too packed.
Total was $48.14 + tip
01 – Steamed Chicken Feet and Sakula Egg Yolk Bun: Both were delicious. The feet were so tender and the buns were soft with sweet, eggy lava inside
02 – Pan-Fried Turnip Cake: These were tasty. Nothing groundbreaking, but I’d order again with a group for some variety.
03 – Tea: It was tea!
04 – B.B.Q Pork Cheung Fun & Crispy Shrimp Roll: I was hoping the cheung fun filling was going to be like the BBQ pork buns, but it wasn’t. That was a little bit of a let down, but they still tasted good. Meanwhile, the crispy shrimp rolls were incredible!! Shattered in your mouth with a great dipping sauce.
05 – Fried Sesame Balls: Gooey, chewy, qq, and perfectly sweet red bean filling.
