I can’t believe such a godly subreddit exists, I finally found my people. I’ve been eating sardines my whole life but recently came across Canned Fish Files w/ Matthew Carlson and it opened my eyes to the vast variety of canned sardines on the market and across the world. I’ve been doing King Oscar my whole life but want to start exploring more brands, please enlighten me brothers and sisters.

What are some of your favorites?
Where can I acquire exotic sardines?
Best bang for your buck sardines?
What are your go to fixings? I personally love hot sauce and saltine crackers with sardines

Best place for sardines is local ethnic markets or Asian supermarkets like 99 Ranch or H mart. Cultural sardines are a lot of fun and delicious too. Check my posts for sardines and serving ideas – I review all the sardines I try
