Mandu guk for the new year

First time in my 30 year existence I haven’t eaten this meal with family. In the old days my haraboeji and uncles would shoot pheasant then the family would get together, pull out the bullets and feathers, and make mandu. Haraboeji is 99, Halmoeni passed away, we do store bought meat now but still we make mandu together! Unfortunately I have Covid so I could not be there with my family. Still made mandu guk for myself. Feels lonely but tastes amazing
