This is my go-to method for making random meals for specific cultures. The chart is a good place to start but isn’t perfect (“Middle Eastern” seems more specific to one specific cuisine of one specific region of one specific country vs the region) but you can figure out more combos with a bit of research.
I usually keep enough ingredients that I can make dishes from the first 6 listed without having to shop.
The best part is, when people of those regions want to make a meal at home and don’t follow recipes, they do exactly what any of us would do and mix together combos they are familiar with and it can just work.
