I Ordered Greek Food (Jimmy The Greek) On SkipTheDishes & Tipped $3

In this “I ordered…” series, I will document my journey to convince or encourage customers to tip when using Uber Eats, DoorDash, and SkipTheDishes.

This series aims not only to educate drivers about what goes on when customers order food on all these gig apps, but I also hope I can encourage customers to add a tip every time they order in this current economic hardship.

I plan to order a variety of food items such as pasta, curry, soup noodles, fried chicken, steak, and desserts and tip at various price points (even a $0 tip) to find out if the amount of tip does affect the speed at which my food gets delivered and the integrity of my meal as well.

Ultimately, I want both customers and drivers to win.

Starving so let’s get started hey guys so tonight I’m going to order from a place called jimy The Greek and it’s a restaurant in the four court and I’ve eaten there once and they’re portions are huge and I’m hungry so that’s why I’ve decided to order from this place it

Says I’ll get my food between 30 to 40 minutes and delery Fe is $2.29 but if I order over $20 my delivery feat will be zero so let’s see what they have okay so number plastic cutteries yes I’m going to do it so one at to order oh they have

Family meal but then you know what I’m eating by myself so I don’t need this they have salads Greek salad chicken Greek salad chicken saki Greek salad pork Greek salad gyro Greek salad salmon Greek salad shrimp Grilla Greek salad M well come on salad I can you know make my own salad

And uh pay way less than this like $15 that’s crazy and they have meals chicken filet meal chicken saki meal ooh roasted chicken meal ooh por saki meal gyro Meal m roasted lamb meal wow that’s yummy fried calamari meal salmon fillet meal shrimp gorilla meal spinach cheese pie

Your salad dressing uh I’m good with everything just leave the olives I mean it’s GRE food I’m not a fan of all this but just leave it it’s GRE food so leave it and choose my sauce choose up to two Shiki of course and hot sauce I don’t

From skip the dishes today I’m sorry guys I should mentioned it earlier anyways skip the dishes is asking me how much should I tip the driver so I just check Apple Maps and I’m actually six claws already from the restaurant so you know what I’m going to tip half of it

And see how my food is going to turn out so under tip your career I’m going to change it to $3 so let’s go down so now my sub total is $30.52 no delivery fee career tip tax HD and service fee service fee is okay so allows skip

Keep the vinegret taste first let’s see how it tastes oh I can’t taste it so guys I can’t really taste the vret the vinegret is like this and I tasted it it’s like olive oil and vinegar and uh there could be some kind of Greek seasoning I have

No idea so let’s just put a little bit of this here and we’ll give this a taste but you know what this this is a lot of food a lot of food guys you know what I shouldn’t put the vinegret in the salad I should just taste it with the vinegret

Let me take um the ones at the bottom so I can taste the freshness of the salad give me a sec this is um without the vinegar i d the bottom of it it’s okay it’s salad no comment and this is with the vinegret m m M it’s salad it’s

Salad let’s just put it all together put it on ins side I have no comment about salad it’s just salad I mean for the lamb they probably cook a bunch of it and leave it out on the counter so they don’t want to brace it
