I have had my wok about a year, it seemed to be perfect at first and I have been pretty thorough with cleaning and drying.

I haven’t used it much over December and I haven’t left it in a thin film of oil, and it seems like there’s rust or stuck on food?

The issue seems to be largely on the area where the wok begins to curve upwards.

Any tips on what to do?

    Isn’t that rust?

If you rub a piece of paper on it, does it come of on the paper?

Have you ever reseasoned your wok?

Nothing. I have the identical wok. It looks just like this. It works fine. It will never be pretty again.

Scrub with Brillo or abrasive pad until rust specs stop coming off. Rub lightly with oil on entire interior, heat till smoking. Repeat 3 times. Cook huge wok meal. When done, rinse with warm water, and store with a light coat of oil on it.
