I gained a lot of weight while pregnant. I lost a good amount over the summer. Wasn’t my goal but it was something. I got on an ocd medicine that and a new birth control. I believe the ocd medicine screwed with metabolism or something because everything that always worked for me
Before just stopped. I lift heavy 5 days a week, I don’t do cardio everyday but at the very least an hour a week. I’m trying to slowly get back in a cal deficit because I want to be able to maintain it. I’m down to 1800 now and I start to drop 50-100 until I’m at my cutting cals. Can my old body be achieved by summer? I’m getting so discouraged. I work so freakin hard and have seen no I MEAN NO results.

depends how much of a weight difference it is. it’s suggested the most weight you can lose sustainably and healthily is 1% of your body weight a week- ie: 150 pounds = 1.5 pounds max lost for a week. this approach is often recommended to ensure that weight loss is gradual and more likely to be maintained over the long term, while promoting overall health and minimizing potential negative impacts on the body. you got this, time will pass no matter what so take the small steps to become your best, healthiest and happiest you! 🙂
you look great though
it depends on how much you weigh and what your goal is. 1-2 pounds a week is considered healthy. when you’re extremely overweight you can lose more, but you don’t see to be that. you still have like 21 weeks until june 1st. 2 pounds a week would get you down 42 pounds if you even need to lose that much.
Idk but I wish I had your now body! You look fantastic!
Someone that has better knowledge will be able to help you I’m sure! Sorry I can’t.
I think you definitely can but your body today looks just as lovely as your other photo!
Yes
From August to December last year I lost 60 pounds. Judging by your photos you don’t have that much to lose so I’m gonna go with yes. I definitely think you can lose that baby fat by summer.
You look good already. What’s the weight difference maybe 20 pounds or so?
>ocd medicine screwed with metabolism or something
medicines usually increase the appetite vs doing anything with the metabolism, but u should read about particular meds ur using. so as long as u monitor what u eat u should have no issues losing weight.
>Can my old body be achieved by summer?
i think it’s possible with ur current regime given consistency. u might not be as thin by the summer, but most of excess weight will go and u will have plenty of muscle. u might look curvier than before as it gets hard to lose those last few pounds. eat plenty of lean protein, lots of veg and some fruit, adding healthy fats where u can. protein+fiber is hunger crash combo so u will never truly be hungry even in deficit if u eat these two, but cravings might be an issue.
>I lost a good amount over the summer. Wasn’t my goal but it was something.
it’s way easier for the body to lose weight in summer, winter time is dark and cold – it is time for preservation and body knows it. it’s natural that people eat more during cold seasons
Hard to tell how much the weight difference is without knowing height. Calculate weekly TDEE. Then subtract 3500 from that. Then divide that by 7. Try to keep that amount of calories as your daily avg calorie count and count weekly. Try to go 200 or so below that goal on weekdays if you want a glass of wine or cheat meal on the weekend. This would allow you to lose 30 pounds in 30 weeks. But assuming you are avg height, I’d guess only probably 20 pounds max between photos. Even 10-15 lost would be attainable and quick and a noticeable difference looks wise if you are short!
OF COURSE YOU CAN!!! Just try to move/walk more. My best purchase in my life was to buy a treadmill! Since then I try to walk on it at least 45 minutes per day and my life changed! Also I try to lift some weights 3 times per week! And all of them at home since I quit gym (Mom of three here 🙋🏻♀️).
For sure. I lost my 20 pounds of remaining pregnancy weight starting at the beginning of September and hitting my pre-pregnancy weight (and ideal weight) just before Christmas. But I’m super jealous of your post-partum body. My skin is so loose and wrinkly, especially my deflated balloon boobs, and my belly is forever covered in a mass of stretch marks. I do like the way I look in clothes now though!
Ma’am. You just created a whole ass life and are a mother. Please go easy on yourself.
