It’s not traditionally spicy, but radishes have heat. I looked it up. Not capsaicin, but they derive their spiciness from mustard oils.

I can’t get enough of them. My favorite munchie food, they helped me curb my cigarette smoking. I used to carry around pocket radishes for when I got the urge.

Radishes, horseradish, wasabi… love them all. It’s a different, nasal-driven spiciness

I love radishes also. Try slicing them and adding a bit of butter and a dash of salt. Trust me.

I eat these straight up with just salt and I love them. Especially straight from the garden when they are still warm from the ground

They are delicious. And I love them on the side of lots of spicy dishes I eat like tacos, beans and rice or paella.

Thanks for the inspiration. I forgot this veggie existed. I’ll pick some up next grocery run.

I’m not a spicy food fan (I’m here because Reddit keeps forcing this sub onto me) but I looove radishes so much. I usually skin them and just enjoy the sweet crunch. Excellent pan fried as well, so juicy

Love radishes, it was the first thing I had ever seen before grown when I was a kid. My grandpa had a small garden he grew various things in and radishes are my first memory from that garden. I eat them often now

I always dip my radishes in my salsa at a Mexican food joint 👍

Hell yeah. Puts some lime and salt. Gives me horrible smelling burps tho.
