Does anyone else love this stuff?
I picked it up on a whim at the Asian grocery store, sometimes I’ll just pick up random sauces and see what they’re like. Some are duds, some are amazing, this one solidly falls into the amazing camp.
It’s not actually very spicy, maybe a 1/10 when it comes to heat, but it packs a huge umami flavor bomb and an interesting texture.
For some reason the flavor of anything I add this to reminds me of Thanksgiving, even if it isn’t a Thanksgiving food.

Yes, I love adding chili crisp to soup, rice, and sandwiches! I typically make my own though.
I love them! Blackbean tofu? One is good too :B
I bought this on a whim at Hmart about 10 years ago and it sat in my cabinet for a year before we tried it with some bulgogi a friend made. This stuff is magical. Now I can’t live without it and the brief shortage a few years ago was crippling!
Like /u/Couch_Lemon4198 said, the fermented beans ones are good too.

We. Love. This. Stuff.
Household staple. Makes for a great sleepy snack!
Yes, it’s a pantry staple for me! I love using it when making spicy udon noodles.
We use this on tons of stuff, the crunchy beans are the best. My favorite dish to make with it is over medium eggs with lemon and garlic yogurt on top. Heat the chili crunch with a bit of thinly sliced garlic and pour over the whole dish, serve with toast. Great breakfast food!
I tried hard to love this but failed. I couldn’t get over the smell and taste of rancid deep fried oil only used for onion rings.
I bought it because so many seemingly loved it and I’m far from a picky eater.
Just not something I felt added anything to any dish I tried it will.
Yes, more so then the new one with the neon colored labels. This is cheaper and IMHO has better flavor
I fucking love this stuff, more than being kicked in the balls even
Gotta try the black bean
Chili crisp on fish or mushrooms is the best food hack there is
The secret ingredient for my fried rice.
