I usually make this with tomatillos. My summer gardens still has some green tomatoes on the vine and I figured I would use them up before the first frost.
Simple salsa in the Molcajete with roasted green tomatoes and jalapeños from the garden onion, garlic, and cilantro. A little bit of cumin, seeds, and salt.
Not bad but prefer to consistency of tomatillos vs the green tomatoes.
