

I did this Mississippi Pot Roast today.
3lb chuck roast
1 packet Ranch dressing mix
1 packet Au Jus mix
1/2 stick unsalted butter (there’s a whole stick in the picture but I cut it back to half before I started cooking)
Half a jar pepperoncinis with juice
Cooked on low 9 hours
Delicious! Served over mashed potatoes with a side of mixed veggies.

Looks delicious and will definitely make this! Question- the only liquid added was from the pepperoncinis?
Seriously, is this good? Take out the butter, halve the salty pax. Still seems unsatisfying. Rather make pulled pork or BBQ beef. Contradict me.
Way too much better IMO. I would still enjoy though, to each their own!
Mississippi Pot Roast is overrated. There are way better options that are even easier
