Charred salsa molcajete

    This is my first good salsa in my new molcajete. I probably spent 4 hours seasoning it, then covered it in oil and baked it to get the blackened color. It’s from masienda. It was pricy, but I wanted a stubby one real bad. This salsa is as good as superior’s salsa molcajete, so I’m happy 🙂

    3 large roma tomatoes

    2 small jalepinos

    ~2/3 large red onion

    6 cloves garlic

    cilantro

    lime

    salt
