
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup buttermilk 1/4 cup milk 1 large egg 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted Cooking spray or additional butter for greasing the pan Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk, milk, and egg. Mix well.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; it’s okay if there are a few lumps.
Add the melted butter to the batter and stir until incorporated.
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with cooking spray or a small amount of butter.
Using a ladle or measuring cup, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
Repeat until all the batter is used, adjusting heat as needed to prevent burning.
Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
