Inspired by Reddit, I want to go through my kitchen pantry/freezer/fridge to use up as much on hand ingredients as possible until buying more. I plan to transfer whatever money is saved during this project to my better half’s birthday funds. She deserves something special and I think I can pool the resources to make it happen, all while learning some valuable lessons in the kitchen such as creativity!

Mulled pizza sauce is a great winter drink!

You have a lot of ingredients for so many good things.

My contribution: Spam hash. Cube the spam, cube the potatoes, chop some onions, chop the peppers (I hope it’s a green bell pepper). Start by sautéing the potatoes in a skillet until they’re golden brown, then add the green pepper, cook for another couple minutes. Add in the spam and tossy tossy until the spam has a bit of brown crust on them. Coat with some teriyaki sauce. Serve with some sliced, toasted sourdough bread.

The can of chicken soup: use it as the base with the frozen vegetable medley and frozen peas to make a chicken pot pie.

Take the ramen noodles, cook them for about 2 minutes, drain. Take a carrot, peel it, and use a veggie peeler lengthwise to make carrot ribbons. Salt it and massage it and set aside for about 5 minutes, then squeeze and drain. Slice some spam and fry them to get them a little crispy. Take the seasoning packet, mix it with a dollop of peanut butter, and fish sauce if you have it, some minced garlic and grated ginger if you have it, and some water and sugar to make a peanut sauce. Toss the ramen noodles with the peanut sauce, top with carrots and spam. Add sliced green onions if you have it.

You also have all the stuff for a chicken parm with pasta.
