Foreign cook for YouTube today I’m going to be doing a very delicious one pot dish it’s called shell pasta bake let’s get started with the ingredients that you’re gonna need to make this dish of course you’re going to need the shells and this is pasta shells the uh seasonings that
We’re going to use is going to be onion powder pepper and salt Italian seasoning we’re going to use some minced garlic we have regular onion I’m gonna saute up some onion and green pepper which is down front and I do have a half of a red pepper you know I don’t believe in
Throwing out anything so I’m going to throw that in as well you’re going to need some cheese the cheese that you would use for this dish is going to be mozzarella and provolone here it is here mozzarella and provolone own mix if you can’t get it mixed just get a block of
Each one and then you just go ahead and Grate it yourself the dish calls for some diced tomatoes but I’m going to use fresh tomatoes that I’ve already diced up so I’ll use that down front I have some ground beef here I have some andouille sausages that I’ve cut up and
I’ve chose to put that in the dish as well I have just a little bit of sugar and that’s to take out that ass to taste and always my spaghetti uh pop my spaghetti sauce or my pasta sauce of choice has always been Prego you can use
Whichever one that you like I prefer Prego so that’s the one I’m going to use so what I’ll do is I have to ground up this ground beef and I need to cook up the pasta shells this is really going to be a cake walk after that is just
Putting everything together and then layering the cheese so I I’m gonna go and heat up or cook up this ground beef and I’m gonna saute up my vegetables at the same time so I’ll meet you at the stove be right back okay now I’ve added
A little bit of oil I’m at the stove I’ve added a little bit of oil to My Pan and what I’m going to do is to go ahead and saute up these vegetables that I have here now I did tell you that I had a little bit of red bell pepper and I
Don’t believe you know I don’t like to throw away anything so I’m gonna go ahead and saute up that’s an option you don’t have to do that the only thing that this recipe calls for is the onion the green pepper and of course those Tomatoes over there but you can also use
Canned diced tomatoes as opposed to using fresh tomatoes I’m using the fresh tomatoes because I have one left in my refrigerator so I’m going ahead and use it now this is one of my all-time favorite pans in the world so don’t come for me because you see that some of
That’s missing some of these old pans that you have in your house they’re they’re better than you would prefer to use them than use a new one because you know how they actually cook so I’m gonna go ahead and saute up these vegetables I’m gonna add in the seasonings and I’m
Going to add in the um the tomatoes but I’m not gonna do it now I’m gonna saute this up a little bit let it get limp then I’m gonna go ahead and add that and I’m gonna add that and Dooley uh sausage but I’ll bring you back every
Step of the way I’m gonna go away I’ll come back and show you when I get ready to add the other ingredients be right all right now saute this up a little bit I’m gonna go ahead and add in these tomatoes and like I say you can use canned
Tomatoes if that’s what you choose I’m gonna put a little bit of the seasonings down in here and one of the reasons why I use the Italian seasoning is because the Italian seasoning will cover your oregano your basil your um it’s a couple more I have my nose
Your oregano is in there your basil a little bit of sages in there some time is in there and it’s one of the ingredients that’s important as far as the seasoning is concerned to this particular dish but when you do it with the Italian seasoning then you don’t
Have to worry about adding a little bit of each one of the seasonings that I’ve already mentioned I’m gonna go ahead and put this in Dooley sausage down at this point now this is an oversized pan and what I’m doing is I’m cooking on two sides of my stove because it’s so large
So I have the heat on down there and I have the heat on up here so I’m putting these sausages down here for a minute because I want them to cook at a certain temperature and I don’t want them to burn while I’m trying to cook something
Else or vice versa if that makes sense so I’m gonna mix all of this eventually but I’m just cooking it like that now now back here in the back I do have some um some minced garlic and I’m gonna go ahead and get a spoon and I’m gonna add
These minced garlic to the cooking as well so and that’s about a tablespoon of minced garlic and I’m gonna go in and get some of this juice because that juice is going to also help that dish okay so I’m gonna I’m gonna mix this in in a minute
Once I cook up that sausage a little bit and I’ll bring you right back okay now I’ve gotten the vegetables out so now I’m gonna put the ground beef in and that’s going to take a minute for me to cook up so I’m going to go away
Get this all chopped up and get it cooked up next time you see me this will be brown and I’m gonna add the rest of the seasonings at that point be right there okay before I forget I just want to let you know the seasonings that is
Found in your Italian seasoning and you have basil you have rosemary thyme oregano and a hint of uh Sage you also have marijuan so I wanted to make certain that you knew what was in it now you can either add all of those seasonings and work out
To get our Italian seasoning you can pick out the ones that you want to use and still come up with your Italian seasoning or you could just buy it already mixed like I did so what we’re gonna do right now is I’m gonna go ahead and put a layer
Of cheese inside of this dish now I’m not a real lover of cheese I I really don’t like it but if I had a cheese of choice it would bring the ones that I would use the ones that are not as dominant and for me the ones that are
Not as dominant as gonna be your provolone and your mozzarella I think you get more of a pool than a strong taste I also want to show you something else look see that’s not thick that layer is relatively thin okay so and I’m trying to get three layers out of this
So I’ll go ahead and on top of that I’ll put some more because I like to taste everything that I’m eating and I don’t want it just really combined like that uh where everything is kind of going together like um it’s uh if it was uh your macaroni and cheese
Okay so the next on top of the next layer I’m gonna put some more cheese now I’m serving this with some french bread and I’m doing the Texas Pete um bread that the Texas toast I’m sorry Texas Pete I’m not doing hot sauce but I’m doing the Texas toast that
Um has the cheese on top I’m going with that one so this is gonna be I guess a Cheesy event so next what I’m going to do is that I had this glove on I hope I can get this Cheese open okay I’m gonna put down another layer of cheese okay
Now I’m gonna put down one more layer and another layer of cheese and then I’m gonna top it off with a layer of cheese I think that if you try this dish you’re truly gonna love it you’re gonna love it and I think that your family is definitely gonna love it especially if
They’re cheese lovers so really it’s kind of like a Twist on a macaroni uh really it’s kind of a Twist on the spaghetti kind of like but whatever you do take off that uh if you have like oil take that off you don’t need that you got enough oil coming from the
Cheese okay so now I’m gonna put on another layer of cheese and then I’m gonna top it off now this is only going to take like five minutes in order to melt off this is this is going to be melted right now because this dish is still warm but the top
It’s only going to take like about five minutes to melt it off in the oven so I’m gonna go ahead and add my last layer and of course as always your uh ingredients and your serving will be listed in the description box now let me tell you something else when when we
Upload the video sometimes I’m eating or I’m doing other things and I don’t go right back and put in the ingredients but within an hour or so you can go back and look at the ingredients that’s in the description box not unless it’s late when I finish it
And if it’s late when I finish it it will always be the next day and it’s okay to remind me if you don’t see it say within an hour or so and you want it right away just remind me and then I’ll go ahead and I’ll put it in
Now this is the top and I want you to look at this okay you don’t have no grease floating in that none all right so what we want to do now we’re only going to be baking off the cheese and that’s really melting it so now we’re gonna go ahead
And we’re gonna put off put that top layer down all right foreign slippery alrighty so I’m gonna put this in my oven on 375 I’m gonna leave it in there roughly about five minutes that’s all I really do and you want to just watch it as it
Cooks and I’m gonna bring you back and show you what it actually looks like once I take it out of the oven then I’m gonna wait five minutes before I cut it why are you waiting five minutes because you want your cheese to actually set
You want it to set in your dish that’s the way it looks now I’ll bring it back once I get it out of the oven I’ll be all right okay I’m back and it’s ready there it is now you can get yours a little bit dark
I don’t want mine any darker that’s it I’m gonna let this sit for 10 minutes um really five five to ten minutes and then I’ll bring it back and I’ll dish you up a plate I’ll be right now I’m back and it’s been about five minutes
I’m gonna go ahead and cut this out now you don’t have to cut this out and that’s not why I made it that way so you would have to oh it’s really cheesy look at that that’s full of cheese okay well that’s gonna take me a minute there okay
Okay what what I really uh oh but that’s the way you want it you want it that full of cheese okay so there you have it and I’m gonna add to that two P two pieces of this we moved us over there you go two pieces of that Texas um
