My Carolina reaper plant has started showing some yellowing on the lower leaves, at first I thought it might be natural leaf drop, but today a few more leaves are starting to yellow.
Initially I fed this plant with a tomato fertilizer with nok of 10:3:9.
After it started seriously fruiting I switched to another fertilizer with npk of 5:8:12. In the photos the plant is currently under shelter due to having heavy rain forecasted for this week.
Any help will be appreciated

Nitrogen deficiency is a mobile nutrient deficiency so it does start at the bottom but it would help to see pictures of the actual plants

It’s incredibly difficult to diagnose any plant based off of pictures without knowing the entire growing routine. There really are too many variables to account for. Plant looks otherwise healthy. It takes an incredible amount of energy to sustain fruit. Given that they are lower leaves I’m of the opinion that it’s just natural leaf drop. Plant has to make cuts somewhere in order to manage production.

Add CalMag, reapers need this in my experience.
