All right Joe we’re about to make a seafood gumbo let’s go I’m gonna show y’all how to make a roux y’all that’s one cup of flour and one cup of vegetables here with that Trinity now a medium heat go ahead and saute that down about 15 minutes

Y’all go ahead and brown four pounds of that smoked sausage hit it with three cloves of fresh garlic now now go up in there with that sausage 90 ounces of seafood broth hit it with that onion powder in that garlic powder occasion seasoning baby go ahead with your salt and pepper

And your bay leaves a tablespoon of that gumbo filet 16 ounces of that crab meat y’all 12 of them gumbo crabs now now let’s go ahead and let that simmer for 30 minutes y’all put the top on it we got three minutes left going up in there with two pounds of shrimp

  2. With my gumbo and a lot of people are like this I like to make my roux remove it from the pan then sautee my Trinity add the sausage and seafood stock then add the roux back to the pot

  3. Whew so for seafood broth help me out is it like making stock from seafood? Do ppl put like shrimp tails and carrots and celery and onion? And let it boil.

    Somebody help I want to make this
