My mom says you’ll have everyone at the potluck eating dessert first with this summer staple. ☀️🧺🍉 (love to my bonus mom, Mrs. Lantz — Elizabeth L. Brown, M.D. ♥️)
Mrs. Lantz’s Blackberry Cobbler
Ingredients:
4 cups blackberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup AP flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1/4 tsp almond extract
1 Tbsp lemon juice
6 Tbsp butter
Directions:
1. Prepare a 9×6 baking dish and preheat oven to 425º.
2. Rinse blackberries and plop them in the dish. Mom doesn’t care if you dry them. 🤷🏻‍♀️
3. Drizzle lemon juice and almond extract over top of the blackberries.
4. Mix together sugar, flour, salt and egg. It will be chunky.
5. Spread the mixture evenly over the blackberries.
6. Melt butter and drizzle over top of everything.
7. Bake for 25 minutes—until golden and bubbling.
8. Serve with vanilla ice cream for the dreamiest outcome.
9. Yum.

Quite often forget the salt do you mean cake flour mom do you mean bread flour normal ordinary flour i know she said blend you remember when you taught me to crack eggs one-handed i didn’t teach you that you learned that on your own i still can’t do that

Were we supposed to buttered or prepared that pan at all we probably should have honey but it’s going to have to work because we didn’t well that’s all right i could take those things out and prepare that pan it’ll be all right without it Oh mrs l perfect bubbling with ice cream yum
