Mike’s is unfortunately horrible. I got some for my sister thinking it would be the perfect gift and when I tasted it it was just gross. Didn’t even taste like honey, it was decently hot but the flavor was just horrible

Why pay extra for spicy honey? Put some honey on your food and add some cayenne powder or something else spicy.

All other hot honey is garbage. Mike’s is king. I have gone through 5 bottles in the past 6 months.

I like it a lot but I make my own hot garlic honey. Great on lots of things or as the base for a stir fry sauce.

I love Mikes hot honey. The extra hot is their best though (black label). It’s so good on ice cream.

I mean, it’s fine. It’s okay on some things, but I’ve never had a dish with it where I was like “damn this would be incomplete without the hot honey.”

I love that there are two comments here that are “This is the best!” and “This is the worst!”. Honey honey does feel divisive.

I don’t use it all that much.
When I smoke large (for me) batches of deer jerky I use it as a binder for dry seasonings on my sweet and spicy variant

Pairs well with pepperoni pizza imo
