I’m Joanne, that’s Adam behind the camera,  and we are the couple from inspiredtaste.net Today we are making easy chocolate chip cookies.  This is my go to chocolate chip cookie recipe   mainly because I do not need a mixer to make  them. We start with melted butter so you just

Need a spoon, stir it all together and bake.  So simple and so delicious. Let’s go make them. First, let’s talk about the magical  ingredient that makes these cookies so easy:   melted butter. It simplifes the recipe  and gives you the option to add a lovely

Nutty richness by browning the butter. If  you’re short on time, browning the butter   is completely optional. But trust me, it  takes these cookies to a whole new level! The dry ingredients are pretty straightforward.  We’ll stir together flour, baking soda, and salt.

We also need 1 egg and 1 egg yolk. Leaving out  the egg white makes the cookies rich and chewy. Mix the eggs with granulated and brown sugar  then add vanilla extract and that butter. Oh and here’s a super secret ingredient:  instant espresso powder. While optional,

This small addition makes a  major difference in flavor. Now mix everything together. You might  notice that the dough looks a little dry   but don’t worry. Thanks to the butter and  egg, there’s plenty of moisture in there. Stir in a generous amount of chocolate  chips and you are ready to bake!

I find that hand-rolling the cookie dough works  best with this recipe, it’s a quick process. Here’s a tip for the best chocolate chip cookies:  sneak in some extra chocolate chips before baking.   This way, you’ll end up with deliciously gooey  pockets of chocolate on the top of each cookie.

Bake the cookies in a preheated 325  degrees Fahrenheit oven until they   turn golden brown around the edges.  After removing them from the oven,   let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for a few  minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

And that’s it, our favorite chocolate chip  cookie recipe! We absolutely love this one,   and we hope you do too. Enjoy! Thanks for watching. If you loved this recipe we  have lots more. 1. The ingredient list looked great. So I heated the butter added all the ingredients including the chocolate chips. And it melted into an over sweet goofy looking mass. I am now looking in my regular cookbooks to see if adding oatmeal to it might bring it back to life. It was too sweet and there were too many chocolate chips for that amount of flour. And it melted. I watch the video her cookies worked like a charm. My cookies failed.

  2. I will NEVER buy another chocolate chip cookie from the store! These came out SO good! The ENTIRE family wanted another one and I only made one batch for testingthem out. Guess who'll be batch prepping cookie dough this weekend? THANK YOU!!!!!

  3. This recipe is great. But for me it's not 30 minutes, more like 150 minutes (it's fine to me). Also, I guess that this much sugar is little too much. But its crispy and chewy and I love it so much

  4. I think this might be the best chocolate chip cookie recipe of all time! Everyone who tried them absolutely raved about them! I think it might be the browning of the butter that does it!

  5. theyr'e ok, i would reccomend to keep them in the oven a little longer than they say (website says up to 16 minutes but after that mine were still too soft)

  6. A honest review > this recipe is fantastic. It worked like a charm! Up until the baking point, everything was awesome. However a small suggestion would be to mention the correct baking time. I tried three batches and out of that, first one failed. Reason being I took the cookie within 25-30 mins. It can be seen that the cookies worked fantastic on other 2 batches when I kept them for a longer time, say 35-40mins at 160°C. Rest all are good & I’m looking forward to your channel 😊 cheers 👍
