Scratches on the surface, small area of bright green coloring toward one end, dark green plaque-like spot, and a few cuts into the skin. It’s only slightly squishy.
I’m new to cooking so not sure if these are normal for zucchini or not.

It looks pretty rough. I wouldn’t.
I would
Wash it off well. The yellow is from where it touched the ground, totally normal. Scratching is normal too, nothing wrong with it so long as it’s not moldy. It might have froze a little, that’s probably why it’s a bit soft, but it’s still edible no problem.
As long as the inside looks okay, I would still eat after a washing
You can slice away that little spot in the second photo if you want, but as long as it doesn’t smell bad it should be safe to eat.
That courgette is fine.
Just cut off that one spot and as long as the inside looks normal it’s fine.
Yes. Wash it and peel if necessary!
Safe yes, ideal no. I’d complain.
It’s fine, are you band new to life??
