I followed Maangchi’s [recipe](https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/tongbaechu-kimchi) and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be, and I’m surprised at how good it tastes! Before this I would buy the Jongga brand from HMart, and I’m super happy because this tastes even better and is much cheaper lol.

Looks good! You may want to add a fifth container so you can leave a little headspace so you don’t experience a blowout between burps.

Looks delicious like Jeonju style kimchi! In my humble opinion, Jeonju style is the tastiest 🙂

If you find you’ve been bit by the kimchi-making bug, [double-lid fermenting boxes](https://shop.crazykoreancooking.com/collections/fermentation-container) are magical and so much easier to work with than mason jars
