A super-duper delicious appetiser/side/snack or whole meal! Crispy Chicken Strips (or Crispy Chicken Fingers) may not be the most healthiest choice but they’re certainly a fabulous choice for those occasional treat meals. I’m never one to recommend deep frying, but I am a mother, and I understand the joy in sharing a happy meal 🙂 Try this out sometime for when your kid— or just abybody— asks for ‘something yummy, but don’t know what’!

Ingredients:

For the Chicken marinade:
1/2 kg Chicken
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Black Pepper powder
1 teaspoon Red Chili powder (spicy or Kashmiri)
Juice of 1 Lime
1 Tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
1 Tablespoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
1 Tablespoon cooking Oil
1 whole Egg, whisked with a pinch of Salt
Other seasonings/herbs can be added, for example, onion powder, garlic powder, hot sauce, barbecue sauce, oregano, other dried herbs

For the crisp coat:
1/2 Cup Maida (all purpose flour)
1/2 Cup Cornflour (corn starch)
1/4 teaspoon Salt
Pepper, as desired
Red Chili Powder, as desired
Again, any other dry seasonings are welcome

Oil for deep frying
