John Brotherton, Pit Master of Brotherton’s BBQ in Pflugerville, has passed away
My favorite BBQ spot without a line that is consistently great has lost an integral part of their identity with the unexpected loss of co-owner and pitmaster John Brotherton.

I love Brotherton’s, I don’t think it gets enough credit. How sad for his loved ones.

Sad to hear this. Have only been there once but thought it was great. He built and ran a solid BBQ place. Condolences to family and folks at the restaurant.

John was a very kind man who was good to my family for more than a decade. The world is poorer without him
Really sad, always liked their brunch/dinner specials that made them stand out from other bbq spots
