
I’ve had bottega’s fancy pants club before and while it was good, I thought the flavors were quite muted (maybe because it was prepared a bit in advance)? Making it from scratch really brightened all the flavors. It was a very good club—might be my favorite actually!
Milk bread, parisian ham, gruyere, tomato, watercress, bacon, avocado, roast turkey, egg, basil-dijon aioli (basil, dijon mustard, garlic, neutral oil, champagne vinegar, egg yolk). On a plate with cheesy french, but whatever the plate’s cute 😌
Not sure if the avocado is needed here (it’s certainly not bad); then again I’ve never been too crazy about them so
