Hi, I’m Annessa Chumbley, and welcome to my backyard. To me, nothing says summer like kebabs on the grill. They’re fast, festive, delicious, and perfect for that dinner party. I just picked up everything we need from Jewel-Osco, so let’s celebrate summer and get grilling. ♪
So, as you can see, we have several different types of beautiful kebabs ready for the grill. The vegetable kebabs I picked up in the Fresh Cut section because they were already ready to go for me, so I just brought those home, put them in a Ziploc bag, and then marinated them in some
Essential Everyday Lemon Pepper Marinade. I also love using that same Lemon Pepper Marinade for seafood because it’s so mellow. It pairs perfectly with seafood. So, I skewered some shrimp kebabs, and here’s a tip when skewering shrimp: Don’t do just one skewer because then they tend to twirl around on the grill
And that can be kind of frustrating. So instead, use two skewers, and then you can flip them easily on the grill. These beautiful choice beef kebabs as well as the chicken kebabs I picked up pre-made in the meat department, then I brought them home, put them in Ziploc bags, and marinated them
In Essential Everyday Teriyaki Marinade for about 30 minutes, and they’re all ready to grill. So, when you put your kebabs on the grill, be sure to give your chicken kebabs a head start because those are gonna take the longest, then everything else can follow after that.
But be sure to put your shrimp kebabs on last because those will be done in under five minutes. So, a good rule is to keep turning your meat and chicken kebabs every three to four minutes, so you’re gonna want to hang out by your grill. And then the vegetable and chicken kebabs
You’ll want to turn about every two to three minutes. And then the shrimp kebabs will be done when the shells are pink. And look at these, they are beautiful. And these kebabs are ready to serve. I like to keep this super healthy and light
For a hot summer day and serve it with a salad tossed with vegetables from the Fresh Cut section. What can I say? Bring on summer! For this recipe and more great grilling tips, visit jewelosco.com.
