I was actually trying to park at the time, seriously thought there had been a terror attack. There were police, fire, ambulance blazing around the city centre, shutting roads. I was just turning into the car park when I was basically surrounded by 5 or 6 emergency vehicles. I think they must have put some plan into action.
Now I just want to find out which vendor it was so I can eat there. Can’t stop thinking about it.

Geez it only takes a little while to clear the fumes out and it’s pretty obvious what happened. The emergency services there must be pretty bored.
You should definitely find the stall and talk with the vendor. Find out what went wrong and have a good laugh about it.
This doesn’t help the stereotype that English people don’t use spices on their food lol
