We used our Philips 7000 series pasta maker to produce this great primavera recipe. It not only tastes great, but it’s really easy to make. You’re going to love it. Normally, making the pasta from scratch can be a bit of a pain in the neck, but the pasta maker really does take a lot of the work out of it, not to mention the mess! Also, since we are using buckwheat flour, the whole thing is gluten-free!

Hey everybody welcome back today we’re going to be using our Philips 7000 series pasta maker to make gluten-free buckwheat penet Pasta Prima Vera from so you ready let’s get into this for this recipe we’re going to need sundried tomatoes little bit of avocado oil minced garlic little bit of salt and

Pepper some bell peppers a little bit of zucchini some broccoli fettes a little bit of Parmesan cheese on the side the flavor at the end and for the pasta we need some raw egg buckwheat flour and some water if you’d like to make this recipe all the ingredients measurements

Are down in the description of the video along with the calorie count the protein the carbs and the fat all right here’s the ingredients for our pasta what we want to do first is we want to mix the egg and the water together so we’ll

Throw this in and we’ll just use a fork here to break that up and get this combined as good as we can also if you’re using our same pasta machine make sure you have the correct disc on your machine we’re doing penet pasta so we got our penet disc on here

But you can use whichever one you want once you got that mixed we can open up our machine pour in our buckwheat flour close this up and we’ll go ahead and start the machine now we can pour in our egg mixture into the little vent on the

Top here and then we’ll let it mix and do its thing when you’re mixing your pasta in the machine you’ll be able to tell if you got the right consistency because it’s not going to look like pizza dough and it’s not going to look like bare flour it should be really

Crumbly the amount of liquid you’re going to use is going to vary a little bit depending on your region and if you’re using well water or something like that that can affect it too so even if you’re following our recipe you’re likely going to have to make some

Adjustments to the amount of water that you use to a certain extent you’re going to have a little bit of trial and error as far as that goes Okay we want to have two different pans here we want one to cook our Prima Vera vegetables in and we want one to cook our pasta in keep in mind we’re working with fresh pasta so it’s only going to take about 3 minutes or so for it to

Cook so we want this pot already hot and ready to go for the pasta whenever we get our vegetables finished that way we’re not waiting around and nothing overcooks so we’re going to set our water to between a medium and a medium high and then we’re going to preheat our

Pan using about a medium heat now keep in mind we’re using a lot of different kinds of vegetables for a prima Vera the ones that go in first need to be the ones that take the longest to cook so we’re going to be putting in the broccoli and then the sundried tomatoes

Then the peppers and then the zucchini last okay so we’re going to put in our oil first along with our broccoli then we’ll add in our sundried Tomatoes also we can put in our garlic now if we want To after you let this cook for a couple minutes you’ll start to see that the broccoli is starting to change color a little bit once that starts we can add in our Peppers so we’ll throw those in by the way if this is your first time

Heing you want to learn some cool new recipes get some great cooking tips and tricks and all sorts of other kitchen related things then start now by subscribing to the channel and clicking the notification Bell so you never miss a thing once you let those Peppers

Soften up a little bit you can add in your salt and pepper stir that in really good and try to get it evenly distributed like see that piece of broccoli right there we don’t want all that pepper sitting on it so so be sure to mix that up really

Good otherwise somebody’s going to be in for a surprise but you get that combin in really good go ahead and add in your zucchini and then we can sort of let this cook a little bit on a some you can put it down to a medium low if you want

To or you can leave it at a medium as you can see our water here is already ready for the pasta and this is just about ready now it all kind of depends on how you like your vegetables if you want them a little bit more firm then you want to

Cook your pasta sooner and obviously if you like your vegetables cooked through all the way then you would want to wait just a tiny bit Longer I like a little bit of crunch so we are pretty much ready for pasta as far as I’m concerned and then I’m going to throw in all of my pasta here keep in mind this is fresh pasta like I said before it’s going to cook really really Quick so as soon as you get this in here you’re going to want to start stirring that we want this pasta all Dente so be really careful not to overcook it it only takes about 3 minutes or so so after about 2 minutes we want to start checking this keep in mind this

Type of pasta is pretty fragile when you make it fresh so don’t dig your tongs in here really hard or anything you want to give this a good chance to cook and strengthen a little bit if you start to get a lot of starch building up and

You’re afraid that it’s going to spill over you can always just push the pan off of the Heat and you’ll see that that’ll go down right away so I wouldn’t worry too much about that or you can just drop the heat down too be sure you don’t forget about your

Vegetables here got to keep stirring those otherwise you’re going to burn not only is this fragile because of the shape of the pasta but it’s also fragile because we’re using buckwhat here and that’s if you’re cramming stuff in there you’re going to end up with a bunch of

Crumbs okay that pasta is just about ready so we need to get this off the heat drain it in a colander like this and then make sure all the water is out of this don’t shake this around too much cuz we’re going to mess up all that

Pasta if we do that but you can just sort of shake it a couple times make sure you get most of that water out this is hollow pasta so it’s going to kind of hold a little bit of water in there too so watch out okay now we can pour our

Pasta into our Prima Vera we can carefully stir this in looks pretty weird doesn’t it that’s buckwheat for you though and once you do that we’re ready to serve if you’d like to learn some more about Joe’s phenomenal you can either watch a couple more

Videos or you can check us out online at Joe’s [Applause] phenomenal. that Prima Vera came out fantastic I know a lot of people are used to having Prima Vera with a cream based sauce but to me it’s even better this way has less calories and fat and

Really brings out the flavor of those vegetables a lot more if you’d like a little bit more information about the Philips 7000 series pasta maker that we use in this video we do have an Amazon affiliate link to it down in the description of the video if you buy

Anything through those links we do make a small commission but it doesn’t change the price that you pay 1 cent if you like this video then you might like this playlist right here where we’re putting all the recipes that we make in this past maker all together in one spot this

Video is the first one going into that playlist so if you don’t see a whole lot in there just check back every so often and I’m sure we’ll fill that up pretty quick well that’s it for now I hope to see you back again here really soon and

Until that time I’m Joe and I hope you have a phenomenal day take it easy

  1. The black pasta just did not look appetizing to me. Hard pass. I usually add fresh peas to pasta primavera.

  2. Yummy!!!! Would lupini low carb be better?😮 Not sure. Never tried lupini pasta

  3. I hate cream based sauces! You did good. I love buckwheat and I love primavera.
