I prefer the XXX Hot Salsa Kutbil-ik ‘de, I think it has a better balance between heat and char/smoke.
The black sauce is just a bit too sweet and leans too much into the smoke for my personal taste.

Its El Yucateco, so well made. But its not flexible in cooking, and I already have liquid smoke in my spice cabinet, so I don’t need it.
The special El Yucateco IMO is still the *Kutbil-ik*.

I’m not a fan, probably my least favorite of the yucateco line that I’ve tired, which is quite a few of them. I’m aware some people love it though, and I support those people.

It’s good for specific things. Like if i use it with pepperoni pizza rolls it’s good but I don’t like it with most other things. I want to try cooking with it some day
