This was my first time trying egg white wraps and they were a big hit! Do they replace regular tortillas? Absolutely not. But considering the majority of my favorite meals involve tortillas, and a single flour tortilla contains like 40 net carbs, I was itching for a solution.
Not only do the wraps fill the physical role of a tortilla, but they don’t really interfere with the flavors. I can even think of some applications where they would be better than a flour tortilla.
If you haven’t tried them yet, I definitely recommend them. The only real downside is price, but I read some comments in r/keto about people making their own with egg whites and xantham gum.
Recipe and cost/macro breakdown in the comments.

**Steak**
I buy the steak in bulk and cook all at once for convenience. You can cook it however you prefer, but this is my time saving method.
1.) Preheat oven to 450F
2.) Mist steaks with olive oil, or lightly coat and rub
3.) Season to preference
4.) Place in oven for approximately 15 minutes. I prefer medium-rare, internal temperature of about 130F-135F. Cook to desired doneness. Consider cooking slightly less than preference if you are planning to reheat.
5.) Remove from oven and turn off oven.
**Steak Breakfast Tacos**
1.) Weigh steak and avocado
2.) Whisk eggs
3.) Turn stove on to medium heat and wait for the pan to heat evenly. You should be able to feel even heat holding your hand 6-8 inches above the pan. Turn down heat to medium-low
4.) Melt butter in pan and turn to coat
5.) Pour eggs and steak into pan
6.) Cook to desired doneness of eggs. I like mine to not be dry
7.) Divide contents equally and put inside wraps. Sprinkle with cheese. Microwave for 15-30 seconds
8.) Devour!
Check out Mission Tortillas low carb. 4 carbs per tortilla. And delicious.
