I’ve never been able to start a recipe and finish cooking it within the timeframe given. I thought it was just me.

    me too! They’ll be like cook the chicken 4 minutes on each side…like girl it’s still raw

    I’m a slow cook. Always have been and probably always will be. I disregard the time estimates on any recipe, except for as an average gauge of “fast”, “medium”, or “slow”. But I also think they are always massively overstated and don’t count prep time accurately.
