You never said we need okra In the video
This looks amazing. I am making it this weekend. Can't wait! Thanks for the recipe 🙂
Can I add seafood?
Sure can! Shrimp and scallops would be delicious in this Jambalaya. Enjoy!
I screwed it up with toooo much cayenne!
can I use this as a stuffing?
I made this and it came out great!!! Thanks…. I just added a few extra seasonings.
I see u din't put sal in it ?
Not quite traditional jambalaya, there are a few vital ingredients missing. 4 cloves garlic,2 bay leaves, black pepper, oregano, more onions,6 fresh chopped tomato. Louisiana hot sauce..Now its a jambalaya
No Jambalaya comes from the word jambon which means ham. Every step you took was wrong. You tell Bubba go back to the hills where he belongs or come down here to BatonRouge so i can show him what a real Jam is.. This looks like a crap sandwich without bread
One pot heart attack cooked and ready to serve! Grab your tums, aspirin and predial 911!
That looks like a Hot Mess!!!! Yes you can cook it with whatever ingredients you like but the process is basically the same. I like just chicken and sausage without the tomatoes and all the other stuff. This one is a little too wet for me.
Cook down your veggies, add some meat (whatever you like) , cook that down a little, add some liquid ( around 2 parts liquid to 1 part rice) , season, bring to boil, add rice, boil, turn fire to low, cover 22 min, turn off heat and leave alone.
Enjoyed the video in instructions on how to make jambalaya. It was simple an email
As you to learn. Thanks
Why precook your meat. That sounds stupid, you cant create a flavour base that way…
yummy
where's the main ingredient you dumb chef…. THE SALT
i love this recipe. I think i am going to try it with raw chicken instead of pre cooked. any suggestions on how to do that?
This isn't Louisiana style. I'm glad that wasn't stated because you would heartbreak a Cajun. Lol
Please this is NASTY I would not Eat it.
NO, NO, NO! There's nothing authentic about this recipe at all. While it might taste ok, you could not serve this to a Louisiana native. Okra in Jambalaya? Never. Okra goes in gumbo.
This basically have the same ingredients as a gumbo.
people from Louisiana are very passionate about our food. If you want to enjoy an authentic jambalaya look for recipes from people who are from Southern Louisiana…FYI authentic jambalaya doesn't have Okra or tomatoes….and it's NOT a quick recipe.
You use salad shrimp? What an absolutely mediocre ingredient to use.
Can they put any other variety of meat…. oh theu forgot fish!
