I ordered from Brooklyn Calzone when they first showed up on the app. I’m from New York, and was really excited to you potentially have a meal prepared in our style.
What was sent to my door was fucking disgusting. The cheese was not melted, it was all scrappy string/shredded bagged cheese rather than fresh cheese.
I ordered a calzone with pepperoni, there weren’t even a dozen pieces of pepperoni in the entire thing. IT WAS OVER &17!!! the plain is $12. They charged FIVE DOLLARS for those NINE pepperoni.
It was disgusting and an intentional and coordinated misrepresentation of the actual product. Anytime I tried to submit my review which was not five stars, or post the pictures, it got deleted or denied by DoorDash. So now this fucking disgusting ghost scammer kitchen, is sitting at 4.5 stars. Fucking ridiculous.
So 1/5 stars for “Brooklyn” Calzone, and 1/5 stars for DoorDash’s eggplant guzzling deception.
