I’m pretty sure I was Thai in my past life but that aside, i often see people eating somewhat bland protein and veg and rice etc and I’m just here to tell you IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY. I refuse to eat bland food day in day out or I’ll be off the band wagon in no time.
This was an absolute explosion of flavour (sorry I logged as a custom recipe because I make it a lot but it’s pomelo, roasted peanuts, roasted coconut, roasted garlic, roasted shallots, fresh lime juice, chilli paste, actual chilli, kaffir lime leafs, tiny bit of coconut oil for the roasting and a tiny bit of coconut sugar.)
Insanely delicious.
Fish is New Zealand hoki (I’m a kiwi living in australia I miss our kai moana) with lime, more kaffir leafs, chilli, and ginger.
