Do we think the Dassault or the Rioja? It’s a 10 hour flight so in reality I will have both. They’ve run out of the lamb (ridiculous) so I’m having chicken for main course.

  1. Not acceptable for 1st class. They could’ve at least gotten the 904 Rioja Alta! Disappointing. The only silver lining is the Bordeaux with some age on it but still… not impressive. Did they at least pour vintage champagne?

When you see that BA is trying to save as much money as they can get away with on wine (I can buy that 2014 Dassault for $43), you wonder where else they might be cutting back!

  3. Never thought I’d get bored of ragging on BA, but not sure we really need yet *another* thread about how underwhelming their F wine list is

The whites look more interesting. I’d be keen to try Límite Norte.

The white Chablis and Rioja Blanco should be ok but are a bit young. Those reds though… 💀💀💀

That’s terrible for first class. I hope they had some krug or something on the bubbly list.
