hello people!
saw [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeLlrBps7Qo) on recipes that use what’s considered “food scrap/waste” in my recommendeds this morning and it made me think :
are there any channels, subreddits, cookbooks, websites etc.. that specialize in using these food scraps for vegan recipes? and, do you have any recipes you love making with food scraps? things like banana peel syrup, using broccoli stems, etc etc…
cheers everyone! 🙂

Funnily enough I’m working on some resources for this now. One of the recipes is making deep fried potato peelings.
Veggie scrap broth is great and cones out a little different every time depending on what you’ve been making. Just make sure to sauté some garlic in the pan before adding the frozen scraps.
Check out @plantyou if you’re on Instagram. She has a whole series on “scrappy cooking” for reducing food waste.
