At last. Venison returns to SmokeyGoodness!
My entry for Stoked On Smoke’s video grilling contest features a delicious Venison Sausage Breakfast Burrito recipe. Although this really isn’t a burrito per se (the tortillas were too thick to fold), it was absolutely fantastic.
Sauteed mushrooms, onions bell peppers with egg, and of course, the Venison sausage. converge over flour tortillas to deliver an out of this world flavor!

Steve’s and john over man cave meals is also doing one i’ll be doing something for that a little bit later but for tonight for stoked on smoke and the grilling contest that steve is conducting we’re doing these venison breakfast burritos venison sausage breakfast burritos so without any more further ado stick around herb

In this corner weighing in at about 41 pounds wearing the forest green trunks from palatine illinois in the united states [Applause] [Applause] there you go he’s done it again ladies and gentlemen that’s levi he’s our expert fire starter nobody in the world can well except for

Probably use about half of it okay and back here i’ve pressed some tortillas thank you greg and over here we have an eclectic mix of uh onions there’s a red onion green onion some pepper bell pepper that is i’ve got a green bell pepper we’ve got a

Red bell pepper we’ve got mushrooms and i’ve got half a stick of butter for sauteing of said ingredients there are more ingredients we’ll bring them out because of the perishable nature of the eggs they’re coming out later salt and pepper of course to taste and a few other things so let’s get going All right nice hot fire cast iron skillet and let that warm up for a minute we’ll be back start off with half a stick of unsalted butter mr smokey goodness guy how in the world are you going to fit all of these veggies the sausage and the egg into this one little pan

Good question so right now i don’t know make it work though About some eggs Black one All right dump some milk in there a little bit of pepper actually a lot of pepper Right like i said i’m only going to use about half of this we’re creeping out here already eight eggs Star of our show venison sausage just like that a bit splash like i just did i’m going to move everything off the hot coals here that egg is cooking fast this my friends will be done in mere All moments few minutes has gone by the eggs are starting to set up flip this pan around here While this is finishing i’ve got my wonderful wonderful tea ball griddle santa brought me that about two or three years ago as soon as that comes up to temperature throw these tortillas in toast them up a little bit and we’ll be good to go One falling apart There’s two i’m gonna have to flooding this neighborhood with this awesome aroma i wish you could smell it since i don’t eat the venison she doesn’t eat venison so i have pork A couple of ingredients i forgot to show which i’m about to use we’ve got some colby jack cheese and we’ve got some tapatio that’s for me [Applause] actually these uh tortillas are too thick to fold up into a burrito shape so we’re just gonna lay everything on top just like that and

  4. Thanks, Sandy! Venison is superb. There are ways to get rid of the gaminess, which usually begin with it's "harvesting".
