Hello everyone welcome back to mama in the kitchen today I’m gonna be showing you how to make alfredo sauce and this is gonna be a copycat recipe to Olive Garden’s alfredo sauce so I’m gonna go ahead and show you the ingredients over here I have 1 tablespoon of finely
Minced garlic 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of flour 3 tablespoons of butter some salt and pepper 1/2 a cup of each Parmesan cheese and romano cheese I went ahead and freshly grated it it tastes better when it’s fresh but you can also use pre shredded Parmesan or Romano and then
Over here I have one-and-a-half cups of heavy cream and one and a half cups of whole milk and now I’m gonna go ahead and get started so in a pot I’m gonna go ahead and melt my butter and then once it melts I’ll be adding my garlic and I’m gonna be
Melting this on a medium heat once the butter is melted I’m gonna go ahead and add my garlic and I’m going to cook this for about a minute on medium heat And after about a minute of cooking the garlic now I’m gonna go ahead and just add the rest of my ingredients the heavy whipping cream the milk the salt and pepper the Romano cheese Department John cheese that’s gonna be half a cup of parmesan and half a cup of Romano so one cup
Total of cheese and then I’m also going to be adding my flour And once I mix everything together I’m going to go ahead and put the heat on medium-high heat and bring this to a simmer and then I’m going to be mixing it occasionally until it thickens up Alrighty and this is how thick it should be after about 6 to 7 minutes of simmering and now I’m going to go ahead and serve this with some fettuccine you could serve this with any type of pasta that you like or even with some breadsticks Is it for this afraid of sauce this is a final look of this dish thank you for watching and please like share and subscribe

White pepper only!
Thank you it was delicious
Add the flower to the butter and cook for a minute or two before adding the cream will improve taste and texture.
Lol u cook flower with butter
I made it last night and all my family loved it! The taste was so good that now I want to make stuff shells with this sauce.
That's a fake "fettuccine Alfredo" recipe, very far from the true version from 1914: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sk9HCxfIREo
This could be your own respectable version but , please, do not call "Alfredo". As the Earth is not flat, but up to you…
YT is full of fake/false/personal recipes that they unfairly call "Alfredo", just like my VW is not a Lamborghini …
Know this lady knows what she is doing these r the same ingredients I use I just add diced cooked onions to mine and I worked at Olive Garden this a good recipe to follow
Tastes good!
Redo your video with portions for a single person.
This is way to much sauce for one for one person
Here's the thing. I've been to Olive Garden twice recently and had this. My recipe is very similar to this recipe and neither is very much like Olive Garden. Theirs is much lighter and far less creamy which frankly I like. I think they probably use a lot less cream so the net effect is quite different. I wonder how they do it. It's not like this (or mine).
No flour in the actual Olive Garden Alfredo
Everyone that makes Alfredo sauce use the same ingredient, except the flour. You use flour and the sauce looks exactly like olive garden.
U don’t use no flour for Alfredo sauce
No need for any flour… the authentic/original recipes never use flour.
Nahhhh you a jit for dis one
I heard it's the best Alfredo sauce ever? I'm gonna try it🙌❤️❤️❤️
Heat kind of butter is it salted
Do not make sauce like this people!
The only difference of yours and actual Olive Garden is 2 tablespoons flour.. they say bring cheese to room temp first… cooks easier! ❤❤❤
How much flour fo we add? I didn't see that on the list…
made this last night for my wife when she got home after working a 16 hr shift (we're both nurses but it was my night off). i was a crazy night for her and she didnt have time to eat anything, but i had promised her i would make this. as soon as she got home i told her pop in the shower, and that would give me time to make it so it was nice and fresh and hot. I had watched this video before but hadn't made the recipe yet. she ABSOLUTELY loved it. the only changes i made was using garlic powder (3/4 tsp) in place of the garlic, since i didn't have any, and all parmesan. i also added small shrimp.
A DEFINATE KEEPER!
This was SOOOO yummy! I followed the directions exactly and had excellent results! This is just like Olive Gardens Alfredo without the $20 price tag! Thanks so much
Oh nooo you don’t add raw flour. You make a roux…. You have to cook the flour hun
missing cream cheese
Impressive "go ahead and" count.
There's this guy that released the original recipe in this is maybe one or two things difference but this it
You’re missing the Philadelphia cream cheese and wow uncooked flour!?!?
