I tried making candy floss Tang Hulu after seeing this video on my fyp the street vendor made it look so easy it looked so cool and I really wanted to try it but I failed miserably so I washed dried and cut the stems off my strawberries then I skewered them these
Are Halal marshmallows I placed all of them in my freezer for over 2 hours I don’t know what went wrong but it might be because I didn’t freeze the strawberries and marshmallows for long enough making the Tang Hulu was really easy but it took quite a while because I
Used a lot of sugar I added four cups of sugar and two cups of water and once it turned Amber I turned off the heat I took out the strawberries from the freezer once the Tang Hulu was ready I dipped the strawberries in first and then I spun the skewer at first it
Looked like it was working this was really dangerous I don’t recommend anyone trying it at home the Hot Sugar was just flying around everywhere I tried spinning the skewer in my sink but the strawberries just started sliding off the skewer and when I tried it with the marshmallows I dipped it in the
Sugar for too long and it started melting and that caused the sugar to crystallize and yeah it was an easy peasy limble squeezy guys

I love your voice!
The ting you did wrong is you have to dunk and then quite fast after that twist and twist it very hard. The more you wait after removing from the sugar the harder the sugar gets and you can't get the tiny strands of melted sugar. And YES IT IS DANGEREOUS! Very dangerous and you have to cover your self and surfaces because molten hot sugar will fall everywhere and burn. Burns from hot liquid sugar are horrendous and you need protection like he had.
Rest in peace Sugar!๐ All that waste… You just need to practice.๐
The street vender DIDN'T make it look so easy, girl
thanks for showing us the fails also!โค
You have to stand on the step stool your leg 4 foot 2 LOL stand on a step stool dip your strawberries make sure you have on an apron and do exactly what the street vendor did as well. Make sure you're wearing an apron and spin them upside down as quick as you can with the palm of your hands damn them up right and let them cool
Awesome video โคโคโค
ive seen people not freezing them beforehand and put them in ice cold water after dunking them in the sugar syrup? maybe that would be easier
Spin faster
He didn't switch off the heat
You werenโt spinning it fast enoughโฆ this is going to sound crazy if you have a little hand screwdriver or drill you can place the skewer in the drill and tighten then spin with that
Get a candy floss machine, lol๐.
And, hear me out: strawberry, marshmallow section strawberry

I suspect you didn't get to the thread stage 215ยฐF โ 235ยฐ F (Fahrenheit). You need a candymaking thermometer.
The โnot easy peezy lembu squeezeyโ was so sad ๐๐๐๐
What is a Lembu? You mean lemon?
You have to bring the sugar to the right temperature.
Dang the hot sugar doesnt play games that stuff can scar you
I liked when she said โ It wasnโt easy peasy lembu squeezy guys โ๐
If they freeze overnight, they'll probably slide off the stick less. Spend as little time in the sugar as possible so as to maintain the hold. He's wearing nitrile gloves in the clip and that probably helps the spinning, since they're grippy grippy. I'm guessing he also has heat protectibe cotton gloves under the nitrile! To do this successfully, you need a lot of protection! Be safe, please!
Thatโs not something to make indoors. If you have an outside grill you can heat the sugar on, that would work, or if you have a door I side your kitchen that leads outside, you could just step out to spin the skewer.
