A small batch of slow cooked Mongolian beef and rice, ready for the week 🥰

    Ingredients:
    • Beef joint
    • Pinch of salt
    • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
    • 4 tablespoon garlic, minced
    • Red pepper flakes or chili oil
    • 1/3 cup soy sauce
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 8 stalks scallions/green onions – white part cooked with beef, green part to garnish

    I slow cooked the beef joint with all of the above, minus the green part. Added brocolli for the last 30 mins of cooking and served with rice. Garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
