1 морков

2 стебла селъри
1 глава лук
сол, черен пипер

We will offer you a relatively low-calorie turkey recipe with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Shall we bake it all? Yes. First we’ll cut it in half, stuff it and then wrap it up and bake it whole. This will be kind of like a turkey roll. – Yes. Turkey meat is generally more dietary.

We will use breast meat, which is probably the lowest calorie possible. Exactly. It has less fat. If you want, since it will probably take us some time – let’s get started. Yes. In this case, we will use turkey breast – about 1 kg, spinach, Porto Bello mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes,

And for the beginning of our recipe we have to cut the turkey itself in half, so that we can wrap it more easily. We take our turkey meat and start cutting. We open it like a book. After we have cut our fillet, we will cover it with foil.

We start with not very strong movements. We start seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. So. We start by preparing our stuffing. For this purpose, we need 1 onion, which we will finely chop. We take three cloves of garlic, which we will try to cut.

Here we have about 2 tablespoons of finely chopped carrots. Let’s start with the sun-dried tomatoes, which we will also finely chop. We will use about 5-6 tomatoes. The other thing we will need for our filling is about 200 g of baby spinach. We start with our stuffing.

For this purpose, we will need 3 tablespoons of olive oil. We start by adding the carrots first, then add the onion. Now we will stir until it became golden. It’s time to add the garlic. We mix, add the dried tomatoes and finally add the spinach to our stuffing,

Which, as you can see, is quite bulky at the beginning and needs a little time to stew. Our stuffing is ready. Before turning off the heat, we will flavor it with lemon thyme – 1 teaspoon, salt and pepper to taste, I will also add a little hot red pepper if you wish.

We mix well until the water evaporates, because it should not be in our stuffing. We start by wrapping our roll, for this purpose we have put foil with which we will wrap the turkey. We start by rolling our roll. So we will try to fasten it.

Now we’ll set it aside while we prepare the bacon. We start by preparing our vegetable canape, for which we will use carrot, leek, celery and onion. We will cut them into relatively large pieces. The onion, we cut it into eight equal pieces. We will also put two whole carrots,

Then cover with a little olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. We start with the preparation of the bacon by arranging it on foil with the fatter part up, trying to overlap them so that it does not open later after wrapping. Andy, doesn’t that bacon add more calories to the dish?

In principle – yes, but if fats are to be taken, it would be good if they were of animal origin. Now we’re going to place the roll on top of the bacon as you saw and try to wrap it without it falling apart.

Andy, do we need to tie this roll with cooking thread? No. In this case, we can tie it – this way it will be better, tighter and more beautiful, but it will not be a problem to bake it without. Great. As you can see our turkey roll is already in the tray.

Every good meal goes well with a little good wine. For this purpose, we will use about 100 ml of white wine, with which we will cover the vegetables. Now we will continue with aluminum foil, with which we will wrap the tray.

Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for an hour – an hour and a half. I think it’s time to see our turkey roll – it’s looking really good, with a great tan, the vegetables are roasted and we’re going to make a sauce from them to add to our dish,

And we’re also going to make a side dish of asparagus. While we make the garnish, we can let the meat itself rest for about 15-30 minutes. We start by cleaning the mushrooms by cutting out the stump that is in the middle,

Then we cut out the dolamellas and we will use them as a canape for the turkey roll. We continue with the asparagus, keeping only the most tender part, and you can make some kind of broth or soup from the stalks. We’ll also add those cherry tomatoes as part of the garnish.

We will season them with salt and pepper. On top of the mushrooms, we will put 1 teaspoon of butter in the middle and now we will put them in the oven to bake at 180 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. So – our side dish is ready,

We’ll just add these two beautiful carrots to finish it off. Carefully transfer. So. And these vegetables – now we’ll put them in a blender and make the sauce for the dish itself – we’ll also add the fat and start blending. I think our sauce is ready.

We’ll transfer to a more suitable cooking vessel and now it’s time to assemble our plate, which I’ll ask Daniela to join. I’m going to put a mushroom in the middle because I think they’re very suitable. And a piece of the turkey as our main character on the plate.

We have all the Christmas colors so I think your suggestion today for Christmas dinner with a healthier idea… As far as “healthy” goes. Add asparagus. – It became quite successful. Yes. We really have all the Christmas colors on this plate – we have red, we have green, white from the meat, just gorgeous.

And finally we finish with the carbohydrate, if there is one. That is, even at the heaviest meals, if we start to eat only salads, vegetable salads… That’s right, because of the fiber in them. Then we eat, leaving the bread and dessert for last, we still have a little more chance of not overindulging.
