HELP! Made quiche for my office and one didn’t have cheese – not sure which it is now. Does anyone have any ideas on how to know?
I knew when I put it in, which had cheese and which didn’t. When I took it out – completely forgot. (Obvious answer might be the right one that’s slightly more burnt but I have a feeling that one is cheeseless 😩

Cut a very thin slice from each, and taste test

Well I can’t guarantee I’m right, but if I had to make an educated guess, I’d say the quiche on the right has cheese.
It has a more brown and toasted look, much like you get when heating cheese. The left quiche is lighter and more evenly colored overall.
But the only real way is probably take a bite.
If you must take a bite, maybe pre cut the quiches into slices and put them on a different serving dish/plate. No one will know a bite is missing lol
Good luck!

Just from appearances (I’ve cooked a lot of cheese quiche), the one on the right appears to have cheese in it.
The cheese typically “floats” a bit during the cooking process and then browns up.
I’d peel a little tiny bit of the brown crusty stuff off and taste. If it tastes like baked cheese, well then you know! And it should be pretty unobtrusive to take a bit off the top.

I’m curious about the no cheese. Why? Is it just that someone doesn’t like cheese?
