Attempting Stella’s fudge frosting recipe from Bravetart for the first time.
Added the butter to the fudge and noticed it seemed too curdled/oily, so I popped some of the frosting in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Re-beat that into the mixture, and now all of the butter appears to just be completely separating out from the chocolate with puddles of butter on the bottom of the bowl.
Hoo boy.
How do I fix this? Trying to make a cake for my friend’s birthday tomorrow and it’s 1am and I’m at my wit’s end. I’d be so grateful for any advice.

Is that the beater in the right? Have you tried a whisk attachment? I think it needs air beaten into it and that thing doesn’t look like it add air.
